 ISTANBUL - Atatürk (IST)

Istanbul is not only the cultural centre of Turkey, but also the biggest city of the country. Therefore the national carrier Turkish Airlines is operating a big hub operations at Istanbul-Atatürk-Airport (IST). This airport is situated in the European part of the city. Since a few years Sabiha Gökcen-Airport (SAW) operates on the Asian side of the city. SAW is mostly frequented by low-cost-airlines. Nevertheless IST offeres interesting scheduled services to most European and Arabian destinations.
