SHANNON AIRPORT
Once upon a time, Shannon was
an important airport for all airlines flying Super Connies, DC6, DC7, etc.
They all stocked up fuel here before they hopped over the atlantic. But
with the inauguration of the jets this stop wasn't any longer needed.
Today Shannon still offers a broad variety of movements, as these photos
