This point can be easily found along the street between Halbergmoss and Schwaig. On the right side you'll find a hill. Parking is also provided there, just turn to right after the hill.

The local spotters cross the street and walk directly to the Gate ("Tor 110"). Don't park your car left of the street, as the police clears the way often

The terminal 2 with its installations can be seen in the background. Walking along the perimeter way to the east or to the west you'll find a lot of vantage points. In the morning it is recommended to walk to east until the line-up.

At the fire brigade- trainings center you can take action- photos easily. Moreover you see the aircraft on the taxiways to the terminals. The buildings of terminal 1 are in background.

This spot is also situated on the the street between Halbergmoos and Schwaig. Just turn off the street to left after leaving the village "Halbergmoos" into the dead end. There are various parking possibilities. The spot is over the bridge at the gate (Tor 125). There you can also vary your own position by walking along the perimeter way.

699 - stop Birkenecker Straße (footpath 10-15 minutes)

If easterly winds are blowing, we recommend to walk a bit to the east until reaching the line-up position. In the background you see the maintenance hangars

From the suburban train station you go to the "Besucherzentrum" (Visitor's park). There you can book airport tours and visit the historical aircrafts displayed there (DC3, Constellation & Ju 52). behind this area you can see a hill. You need to pay an entrance fee for this area, but you can avoid this by walking along the footpath to the terminal. After wakling through an underpass and following the path you'll be a bit higher to take good photos over the fence.

Down form the hill you get a good overview of terminal 1's ramp and also of the westerly end of the northern runway but many lamp posts disturb.

Also the net is easily reached by the suburban train. Exit the terminal 1 at area A and follow the footpath to the visitors area. On the bridge cross the road, which leads to the terminal 1 and follow the bended bridge. For taking photos cross the other street and go to the net. There are already some cuts in the net (and please don't add further ones!!!). After taking your shots go back to the triangle.

The view goes to the north on the northern runway and its taxiways. In the background you find some nice natural surroundings.

Follow the "Flughafentangente Ost" towards Erding. Turn left into the waste disposal management complex. Park your car there and go up on the edge of the pool.

From there you have a nice few on the final approaches on runway 26R. Also the line-up of all departing aircrafts can be taken from there. The line up can also be taken form the perimeter fence.

This hill can be reached while going from Halbergmoos to Freising. After passing the airport area turn right to Attaching. Follow this street until the street heads to the left. Park your car on the hard shoulder. A footpath leads you on the hill.

This position faces the sun and is only suitable at cloudy weather conditions or in the late evenings. The view at easterly winds is magnificent and in the evenings the sun lights the aircrafts during line up. In the background you have the buildings of LSG SkyChefs.

You can reach terminal 2 with suburban train. The terrace is situated on the top (you have to go upstairs next to the gastronomical area). Entrance fee till 19:00, later free entrance till 22:00.

The terrace is glased and isn't very suitable for photography. Photos are only possible in the afternoon, when the light comes from the west. Unfortunately the terrace only covers a small part of the terminal.

Please obey all parking and traffic restrictions; Please pay attention on playing children and pets on their walk. Entrances and gates must be free at all times. Help active to create a good environment with all people living and working near the fence.
 
Leave the fence in an intact shape. Please take your litter with you again!
