11/01/2015 Today Yakutia's B757-200, VQ-BMW, left Salzburg after its grounding on 02/01/2015.  
10/01/2015 For the first time in Salzburg Airport's aviation history, two B747-400 landed on scheduled flights on one day. Transaero's EI-XLC was used for UN327/328 from Moscow DME and company's VQ-BHX was used for UN317/318 from Moscow VKO. Moreover Transaero uses its B767-300, EI-UNA, for another flight from Moscow DME.  
02/01/2015 Yakutia's B757-200, VQ-BMW, was grounded at Salzburg Airport due to unspecified reasons for at least some days. Most likely financial problems of the airline caused the grounding by the lessor of the aircraft.  
20/12/2014 First landing of Estonian Air CRJ-900 at Salzburg. The aircraft will be used for Estonian Air's charter flights.  
20/12/2014 Transaero operates Boeing 747-400 from 27/12/2014 till 17/01/2015. After that date, smaller Boeing 777-200 will be operated to Salzburg.  
07/11/2014 Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) started ticket sales for the Summer season 2015. The flight program offers new scheduled flights from Oslo and Copenhagen to Salzburg on Saturdays as from March 2015.

26/10/2014 British Airways connects in winter season Salzburg and London Gatwick with 9 weekly flights, changing from Boeing 737-400 to Airbus A319/320.  
26/10/2014 Easyjet will operate 5 weekly flights to Hamburg.  
09/01/2014 Starting on 30 March Turkish Airlines will serve its Istanbul (IST) - Salzburg flight daily. At the moment there are 5 flights a week.
